After finally purchasing Protools, learning and being able to record on my own, I wanted to put together a project entirely by myself and Dirty Water was the outcome. I had already been sitting on a couple "mixtape" beats then turned to the internet for a few more. After a couple months of writting, I laced all the tracks in under a month. The meaning of the title "Dirty Water" is quite simple, when looking in a body of water, naturally your image is reflected back to you. So hypothetically speaking if you were to look into dirty water your image would not be reflected back to you. The idea I was going with here is that every song on here is really me and my thoughts/feelings and not just some image or "gimmick" im trying to portray. Basically what you see is what you get. The last 3 songs I must say though are ofcourse written out of the "entertainment" aspect of the art of music and showcasing I do have an Imagination. This is my second solo "mixtape" and my favorite work of mine as of yet. Thanks for downloading and I hope you'll share it amongst your friends and loved ones.
